Design and function requests for embedded forum

I have a few points I'd like to make, and request.

1 - Is it possible to set it up where a forum creator can make a post "Sticky" where it stays at the top of the forum at all times, or until that creator releases it?  That would be handy for making announcements, or posting the "Rules".

2 - I like to place graphics as a header to make the page attractive.  Is it possible to hide the Nabble-placed name at the top of the page, (Maybe by making it white), so that someone in my position doesn't have the forum name repeated at the top of the page?

3 - Can we add a running "Views" count to each thread?

4 - Is it possible to have each user account keep track of the date, and time of the last message they read on a given board, so that the next time they visit;  we will know what messages we have already read??  Alot of boards use cookies to track this, but that has a distinct flaw...If you visit from a different computer than the last time, the "New" messages will be inaccurate.  If you can setup the software to keep track of the last message we viewed, (While logged in), for the boards that we frequent; it would not gum up your server with a bunch of saved messages, just a time, date, and forum address.  That way we wouldn't have to rely on the inaccuracy of cookies to tell us what we've missed.  It would be accurate no matter what computer we log in from.  The system already keeps track of where, when, and how many messages we've posted...Why not the date, time, and location of JUST the last message we read in a given forum??  I would think that would be easy comparatively.

5 - Is it possible to give a forum creator the ability to ban a specific user from posting on their board?

Thank you very much for your willingness to accept user input.  I love your boards, the simplicity, and ease of use are unmatched.  Thank you for your consideration, and I respectfully await your reply.

- Paul

We will have this feature in our next version. We expect to release the new version in about a month or sooner.

Yes, we will allow that in the next version.

But I looked your forum http://www.springfieldhomesguide.com/agent_questions.asp - seems to me, you should place the forum description (your graphical header and the html below it) into your embedding page - you can put all that html in your embedding page and place them above the nabble embedding js code. This will put the header above the Nabble block. It will look nicer, but I agree, it will be even better if you can hide the Nabble name.

Yes, but again, in the next version. We will have a lot of new things in the next version.

This will be a no for now. To do this accurately, we will have to keep track of what posts are visited by each user, which for us will amount to a lot of tracking. Do you know any forum that does this kind of precise tracking? Right now, we simply reply on the browser to change the color of the visited links. It works for people who access a forum from a main computer, but not if you have multiple computers. Sorry, we may do it in future but not now.

Yes, in the next version.

Thank you for using us. Please do complain if there are things you need or things you don't like.
