Detecting Syntax errors in Eclipse

Hi all,
I know this has been diskussed a while ago, but I don't know the result. Is it possible to detect the Syntax errors while typing java code in Eclipse - ist shown for the sighted but is there a pendant for us? Is there a way to make jaws read the errors or play a sound?
