Re: Deviation Standard from the laser in Player/StageThe standard deviation of laser range measurements is not defined.
There's no Gaussian error function on any range data by default in Stage. There is aliasing error, but this is not unimodal so standard deviation is not meaningful. You can impose one if you wish using the provided plugin controller (examples/ctrl/lasernoise) with a variance parameter. - rtv On Sun, Nov 1, 2009 at 7:57 AM, Fernando Zuher <fernando_gadita@...> wrote: > Hi people, > Someone knows what would be the value of the deviation standard from the > laser in Player/Stage? > Regards, > Fernando - Brazil > ________________________________ > Novo Internet Explorer 8: faça tudo com menos cliques. Re: Deviation Standard from the laser in Player/Stagethanks for the reply. But I want know a value for standard deviation from the laser, to use in my algorithm of Markov Localization. I didn't understand what you mean about "provided plugin controller (examples/ctrl/lasernoise)". If that is a file, I didn't find it in my Player/Stage folders. May you help me?
