Hi,

What is the difference between the getAllele() and the getInternalValue() of a Gene?

Thank you.

Eleanna,

normally, there is no difference, please see class org.jgap.BaseGene.

In some cases it might help to override getAllele() which otherwise calls
getInternalValue().

So it's more an architectural thing at first than semantics.

Best
