Disable 2009.1 KDE desktop busy animation?

I've looked everywhere, Googled, and still come up empty on this one.

I'm using 2009.1, now KDE 4.2.4, and am wanting to disable that desktop
busy animation that happens when you move a file. It's the circular
shaped series of rotating white dots that happens over the center of the
desktop after doing a file move, and other things. It's not the launch
animation that happens when an app is launched, but something else.

I don't have any desktop animations enabled and don't see anywhere to
disable this?

Ideas are appreciated.

Hi, Rick.  This isn't ringing any bells with me, so I guess it isn't happening
on my system.  The place I'd look is systemsettings > Notifications.  Have you
tried there?

Never seen any such thing in KDE4.  Can you please
specify exactly what you are doing when you say you
"move a file" please?  Certainly I don't see this when
moving files with either Dolphin or Konqueror.  Would
try to duplicate if I knew exactly what you were doing.

I see those revolving "bubbles" briefly when I change the folder
displayed  in a folder view on my desktop, while the new folder is
being loaded. I've also seen them in yawp on one occasion when it took
longer than usual to connect. I've no idea how to stop them from
appearing.

Nothing exotic, just have say a Dolphin file manager window open, have a
file on the desktop, drag it to the Dolphin window, drop it, get the
dialog to move or copy, click on either, and the rotating white dots, or
bubbles as someone else described them, happen until the operation
completes.

I've seen this animation a few other times as a busy animation I think.
I don't have any desktop effects enabled at all, and can't see where to
disable this action. It's annoying and seems to slow things a little.

I saw this on KDE 4.2.2 and still on 4.2.4 now.
