Disabling minimize in windows manager

How do you disable minimize option in the windows manager?
I have to display an application on full screen but it should not minimize. In the forums earlier, it was suggested that i run the window manager but after disabling the minimize option. How do you rmove some of the options such as minimize, maximize close.
I still want to use the windowmanager.
