Does OpenCms support Jetty?

Hi,
Can OpenCms be run under Jetty?
If not, does it mean the implementation has some dependency in Tomcat code rather than servlet/jsp API?

Thanks,
Ronen

Hi, Ronen!

We have not tried OpenCms on Jetty.

But, as you said and in theory, since OpenCms does not have any
dependency to Tomcat using only the servlet/jsp API, it SHOULD not be a
problem.

But the practice has shown that there are small but important
differences in how the different Servlet Containers interpret and
implement the standards. So, in worse case, some hacking may be needed.

Just try it out.

Good Luck
