Does Placelab work on Windows Vista?

Dear all,

 

Does Placelab work on Windows Vista? I have set up Placelab on my Windows XP PC and it worked WELL. But when I tried on my laptop running Vista (with the SAME wireless card, the card worked correctly--i.e., it could connect to the network), I received message: “org.placelab.spotter.SpotterException: Unable to find any enabled WiFi network interfaces on this computer.”

 

Please help me!

Hi Chuong Vo,

I am not sure what may be causing this, but just as a shot in the dark I would guess that it has something to do with the driver for the WiFi Card under Vista. We had a similar problem with bluetooth drivers  and hardware in XP. In our case we needed Dlink hardware and drivers for it to run.
