Does hsqldb 1.8.1.1 work with OOo?

Hi,

OOo contains hsqldb 1.8.0.x. The latest stable of hsqldb is
1.8.1.1 and I want to update my libhsqldb-java package for the
new version.

Is 1.8.1.1 sufficiently compatible to work with OOo 3.1.1/3.2 or
should we avoid it for some reason? Does anyone know?

(Yes, I know OOo 3.3 is supposed to have 1.9, but that is not released,
but I am preparing a libhsqldb1.9-java, too, I would need it for
OOo 3.3 anyway)

We didn't do any tests with 1.8.1 so far, so I cannot really tell you,
sorry.
