Does syntax highlighting work in an ASPX/ASCX file?

I can't seem to get code in server script blocks in and ASPX or ASCX file to properly use syntax highlighting for the C# code within them.

Is this supported, or am I forced to drop everything in code-behinds to get syntax highlighting on the actual code?

Syntax highlighting and code completion in server script blocks aren't
supported yet. This was something we had planned for 2.2 but it didn't
make it; hopefully it'll be in 2.4. For now, I recommend CodeBehind.
