Dog helmet safety laws

Dear Critter Talk,

My American Mountain Feist likes to ride
with me when I go out on my motorcyle.
I have a cool spiked collar for him and
everything. My question is; What are the
laws concerning canine helmets and where
can I get one?

We live and ride in Texas but we plan on making the trip to Sturgis next year. This is the helmet I am going to buy for my feist. Also I have heard different stories as to the breeding history of the American Mountain Feist. One is that they were bred for fast footed bait in bear hunting, the other is that they are good squirrel catchers. Do you know anything about this breed? Thanks again, nomorebunnybusiness
