Isnt it easier to do a simple svn diff command from the checked out tree
Libunique requires the file GTK+2.0.gir. This is part of the
gir-repository package, which is both part of gobject-introspection
> I have created yesterday a new branch in the dbs svn tree. This is a
> hard work which has ben kindly done by Georgy aka shadowx about
> reorganizing
> the DBS structure. From what I know it should be already working, it
> is not well tested and would be good if we can begin using this for
> the 2.30 gnome build.
>
> To get this tree checked out please execute this line:
>
> svn co https://dropline-gnome.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/dropline-gnome/dbs/branches/dbs_2_0
> dbs_2_0
>
> It will create you the dbs_2_0 dir with the new build engine in it.
>
> Would be good if we can begin poking on that and begin fixing broken
> stuff before we apply it for the use of the 2.30 build.
>> Need a sanity check for this patch. It seems to work and I included
>> the gnome-terminal patch that drove me to make the patch. If it passes
>> sanity for someone besides me lets commit it.
>>
>> Evan
>
> Hi Evan, thanks for the patch, now lets think about it. If we have an
> variable to store this broken schemas to it to create a doinst.sh is
> ok,
> but in my opinion this is complicated since you need to know which
> package has schemas named differently.
> I propose to do it that way, the work you did is ok, now its missing a
> part of work which would analyze the sources maybe after make install
> phase and found all files which are broken schemas names and then fill
> up that $BROKENSCHEMAS variable and do the part as you did.
>
> This would simplify a lot the things, since in the other case somebody
> needs to know which package has the broken schemas files. And
> therefore
> put this variable into the build script.
>
> Thats a little bit too worky in my opinion, but I leave the patch here
> for some time to other people review it. Please speak up since this is
> a benefit for all of us.
>

The only problem I saw with the automating approach for this, and
there is some good stuff in there already to find things, is that in
this case there is nothing internally to the source structure or make
file that I found to cue the calling of
desktop_gnome_interface.schemas. The only package the schema even
shows up in is libgnome. This means it may be a leftover code
dependency on on libgnome which was supposedly exorcise from the
gnome-terminal. I'll try and work with the gnome-terminal guys to fix
this in the source, but for now this will give us a working
gnome-terminal and a place to but this kind of fix in the future.

I have noticed one thing missing in the patch, were should I patch the
documentation on how to use this patch. I also need to add a comment
in line for what is doing.
