here is quick update on the code slush.

DONE
  1. ImageField
  2. Translatable fields* 
  3. Taxonomy => Field API 
  4. Dashboard
  5. Plugin Manager

INCOMPLETE, but several made a ton of progress
  6. Overlays
  7. Shorcut bar
  8. Edit anywhere
  9. RDF

10. Profile

I still have to regroup with webchick after yesterday's patch frenzy, to discuss and propose next steps. In the mean time, we can continue to work on items 6-10.  Expect to hear from me or webchick later in the day.  Yes, that means you have a little bit more time!

Thanks for the amazing work so far!  Couldn't be happier with yesterday's work.

Thanks, Dries. I am very excited about the Taxo changes in particular since I maintain several modules that extend Taxo. I hope that people working on these frenzies understand that the task is not complete until there is understandable documentation available.
