Guys,
We have been asked to propose a system based on a dual CAN
bus system with fallback redundancy running NMEA2000 protocol.
Can anybody point us in the best direction to monitor the
primary network, detect a system failure and fall back to the secondary
network? I cant see a protocol issue but wondered about the practical issues of
detecting a failed network and switching the network. Any pointers?
Best regards
