EE: InductorsI have scoured the net looking for RF Oscillator inductors for am radio Standard AM Band. But no luck. I have looked for prewound tapped coils for Hartley oscillator configuration. If I can buy off-the-shelf it will be better than custom wound. Any one know if custom wound is the only option. The only circuit restraint is that the osc must be Hartley configuration.

Re: EE: InductorsWind your own ??
And define "better" Is "bettter" higher Q, lower cost, smaller size, more consistent.....? Re: EE: InductorsI was thinking mostly about lower cost and readily available in quantities
of 1000. Other parameters could be consistent with standard broadcast radio. I looked at Toko but it seemed that they had only if coils. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Richard Prosser" <rhprosser@...> To: "Microcontroller discussion list - Public." <piclist@...> Sent: Friday, November 06, 2009 4:30 AM Subject: Re: EE: Inductors Wind your own ?? Re: EE: InductorsHi Rich,
Toko definitely has such inductors, I guess you need a variable one for 455KHz ?
