I did a MySQL dump of a Joomla 2.5.6 website to publish it in another directory. When I went to load the MySQL database from the edited *.sql file for the new installation I got this error message from the mysql command:
ERROR 1062 (23000) at line 3472: Duplicate entry ... for key 'idx_link_old' I never saw this before. Any suggestions what to do about it? Thanks for any insight!

That is weird,
if you are using the command line just ad -f or --force to your import and it should continue passed it and your install will probably be fine. Try using the custom for export.
