Hello all.

I an using KOHA 3.0.3 in Debian Lenny.

I have imported some data into the KOHA database and when I try to edit some fields, it seems to be freezed and I cannot edit them. They have a grey background. Others which are editable have white background.

Some of fileds I cannot edit are : 100a,110a,630a,650a

How can I edit them???

Please Help.

Sounds like you have authorities turned on:

admin/systempreferences.pl?tab=Authorities
BiblioAddsAuthorities

If so, you can either switch it off or learn to use the authorities
feature in Koha.  Does anyone have a good tutorial?

Thanks,

Ben is right - here's the FAQ:
http://koha.org/documentation/faq/why-cant-i-enter-a-value-in-the-100-field/view?searchterm=100\

As for a tutorial on how to use authorities - well that I can put in
the new manual, but so many libraries have no need - or desire to use
them - so fixing the preference is enough :)
