Re: Editors: Mercury, AlohaYep,
I already see some demos in action of aloha, and it's a really nice and efficient editor. I don't know mercury but seems cool two, and I like the rest/json implementation. They both go to the path of multi-layered cms, with a clear editor independent layer. We have to add Json capabilities to Lenya... ++ On 10/13/2011 11:32 AM, Andreas Hartmann wrote: > Hi all, > > this seems to be worth a look: > > http://jejacks0n.github.com/mercury/ > > * Works with HTML5 contentEditable > * MIT License > * Saving content using REST/JSON should be easy to implement > > Another HTML5 WYSIWYG editor worth checking out: > > * http://www.aloha-editor.org/ (AGPLv3) > > > -- Andreas > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscribe@... It seems to use a protocol similar to CMIS: http://www.aloha-editor.org/features.php "The Aloha Editor Repository API makes it easy to connect any backend system. The Repository API is close to the CMIS standard and offers a lot of functionalities - but waaaaays easier." > I don't know mercury but seems cool two, and I like the rest/json > implementation. > > They both go to the path of multi-layered cms, with a clear editor > independent layer. > > We have to add Json capabilities to Lenya...
