I've compiled ekiga 3.2.6 with ptlib 2.6.5 and opal 3.6.6 on Fedora 11
recently. If you don't have any specific requirement for using ekiga
3.2.5, go for the latest one ( ekiga 3.2.6 )<br>

<br>reported on the launchpad bug that the problem ceased to manifest itself
<br>when he used a dual-core machine. There looks to be a race condition
<br>and if the effect differs with the number of cores it would most likely
<br>be caused by an incorrect use of threads.
<br><br>Since (I believe) ekiga is not multi-threaded but opal is, it may be a
<br>problem with the way in which ekiga interfaces with opal. I had a
<br>quick look at the ekiga and opal code but the relationships between the
<br>library components was too complex, and my knowledge of voip too
<br>limited, to make very much sense of it.

The below is the error log for ekiga 3.2.6 ( opal 3.6.6 and
ptlib 2.6.5 ) for fedora 11.<br>
This error is encountered when I exit ekiga. No call was in progress
and No audio or video input and audio output devices are connected. The
settings were for LAN and ekiga moving logo was displaced on screen.<br>
