Enc: CVS username is not the same as system username

The problem is in the CVS username. When I input only letters (like 'thiagocoutinho'), it works. But if I add a character "." (like 'thiago.coutinho'), then Cervisia concats the system username.
Where Cervisia stores the repositories configuration file?
I'm using Slackware 11.0.

Assunto: CVS username is not the same as system username

Hello everybody,

I'm a newbie in CVS and Cervisia.
My problem is authentication with CVS (pserver). My system username is thiago, but I acess the CVS with the username thiago.coutinho. So, when I add a repository in menu Repository>Repository, the Cervisia adds automatically the system username.
How can I specify my own CVS username to the Cervisia?

Thanks from Joinville/SC/Brasil.

Yep, the regexp [a-z0-9_][a-z0-9_-]* is used for the account. I didn't
even know that . is allowed in an account name.

~/.kde/share/config/cervisiapartrc and it also uses ~/.cvspass

As workaround you should checkout from console. After that you should be
able to work with Cervisia.

Cheers,
André

Hi André,

Really the '.' in an account name is strange (and
wrong), but is a pattern in my job (name.lastname).
So, I edit the file cervisiapartrc and all works now.

One more thing, when I open the repository window, an
error is occurred, is the same error of this: http://mail.kde.org/pipermail/cervisia/2006-July/000174.html.
