That would be "validation" of entered data. It's a good idea. We need to
think about how we would do it, ideally in a bug report.

We could allow you to define a python function that returns a boolean,
and maybe a human-readable message, though it could be difficult to add
that message to the list of translatable strings.

I would prefer to offer common validation with a simple UI with python
as an option. Maybe you could look at some other applications and see
what they offer. For instance, Excel, Gnumeric, OpenOffice, Word,
Access, FileMaker. You could put some screenshots on the wiki.
