Error calling print commandI've been using Knoda for about 2 years now but
recently I upgraded Mandriva to the latest version. Now when I'm in Knoda, I can no longer print out any report. I keep getting the following error: "Error calling print command. Perhaps you have to add the full path." However, when I do add the full path to the printer, nothing changes. Same error message again. Does anyone know how to get around this? It's not a problem in Tables, Query, or Forms, only in Report mode does this error happen. Thanks, Wayne ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Register Now for Creativity and Technology (CaT), June 3rd, NYC. The "Error calling print command" comes up as soon as I press the "print" button or choose print from the "file" menu. Any sort of printing, in the report mode, is not possible. Printing is operational in the other modes (table, form, query) though. Re: Error calling print commandwhen I changed from Mandriva (into which I had installed Gnome and KDE)
to Ubuntu (Gnome), I was not able to see the reports. I solved by instaling Kghostview (a KDE component).....so I guess that the reports we see within Knoda are in fact "kghostview"...If I understand well you see these reports, but can't print them As a remark, I never tried to print tables or forms, and was not aware it was possible... wayne skribis (esperanto estas la unua internacia lingvo): > Robert Leleu wrote: >> further about....did you tried to "print in a file" (some pdf or ps file) >> > > I can't even get to the "print to file" menu. Re: Error calling print commandIt might be a KDE4 thing, assuming you're running KDE4 on Spring!
