Error compiling Nut/OS: !E (0): Unknown architecture model LongJump, HasMul and Enhanced

Hello,

A week ago I bought an ethernut 2.1 revB evaluation board.
I’m experiencing problems compiling the Nut/OS as described in the
quick-start manual.
I’m using ICCAVR v7.14B together with ethernut v4.8.3.0.
In the Nut/OS configurator, I entered the necessary values as described in
the manual.

Compiling Nut/OS with AVR-ICC7 as selected platform ends with 3 errors:

!E (0): Unknown architecture model LongJump
!E (0): Unknown architecture model HasMul
!E (0): Unknown architecture model Enhanced
make[1]: *** [avr/os/context_icc.o] Error 1
make: *** [all] Error 2
11:37:40: ----- 'make all' failed with error 2 -----

Selecting AVR-ICC as the platform also doesn’t work:

11:56:47: ----- Running 'make clean' -----
11:56:47: Located c:\ethernut-4.8.3\nut\tools\win32\make.exe
11:56:51: ----- 'make clean' terminated successfully -----
11:56:51: ----- Running 'make all' -----
11:56:51: Located c:\ethernut-4.8.3\nut\tools\win32\make.exe
!E (0): Unknown architecture model avr_Enhanced
make[1]: *** [avr/os/context_icc.o] Error 1
make: *** [all] Error 2
11:56:51: ----- 'make all' failed with error 2 -----

Am I doing something wrong? What am I missing here?
Any advice which versions of ethernut and ICCAVR work together?

Thanks in advance!

Kind regards,

Wim

Unfortunately the software manual is somewhat outdated, specifically for
ICCv7.

Did you select avr-icc7 as the Platform on the Build settings page?

Also make sure, that ImageCraft for AVR is selected in the module tree.

Check the screencast at
http://www.ethernut.de/en/iccavr/

Hope this helps and sorry for the confusion. I'm currently working on a
new manual version, but it's a bit time consuming.

Harald
