Good day,

I have been using Icecast 2.3.1 for sometime now, but recently I have not been able to run SAM broadcaster using Icecast. Sam says that my mount is inactive because it can’t be found. Is there a problem with Icecast? I have heard that spacial audio has gone to shoutcast. What can you do to help me set up Icecast to run radio stations? I have tried all the forums, but nothing seems to be working. Can you help?

SJ

Did you check the manual for your software if it explains that error.
I'm not familiar with this commercial software.

Maybe, maybe not. Hard to tell from an very vague description. Did you
check the error.log for your icecast server?

I couldn't care less...

I/We can help you with the icecast part. I can't help you with the
commercial software (SAM). For help with that software contact the
software vendor.

Maybe, if you are able to describe the situation in a way that people
here on the mailing-list can get an idea what might be wrong.

Cheers

Thomas

PS: There is also an IRC channel #icecast on irc.freenode.net - Feel
free to join, but be very patient for answers. There's not always
someone looking at their screen.

more useful answers I recommend:
