Executing two subroutine during analysisI want to execute two subroutine (abc.f & xyz.f) with one single job file (try.inp).
Could you please suggest me the execution procedure so that I can run the analysis. I have used following command: #abaqus job=try user=abc user=xyz It compile only the last user subroutine (xyz) & give error in message file that "USER SUBROUTINE abc IS MISSING" An early reply will be highly appreciated Regards, Sanjay Gupta <http://www.tatatechnologies.com> **************************************************************************************************** Email Disclaimer: Information contained and transmitted by this e-mail is confidential, proprietary, and legally privileged data of Tata Technologies that is intended for use only by the addressee. If you are not the intended recipient, you are notified that any dissemination, distribution, or copying of this e-mail is strictly prohibited. You are requested to delete this e-mail immediately and notify the originator.Any views expressed by an individual do not necessarily reflect the view of Tata Technologies. While this e-mail has been checked for all known viruses, the addressee should also scan for viruses.Internet communications cannot be guaranteed to be timely, secure, error or virus-free as information could be intercepted, corrupted, lost, destroyed, arrive late or incomplete.Tata Technologies does not accept liability for any errors or omissions. To know more about Tata Technologiesplease visit http://www.tatatechnologies.com *************************************************************************************************** [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] Community email addresses: Post message: ABAQUS@... Re: Executing two subroutine during analysisHi,
It is better to have a single file containing all the subroutines.Just copy all the subroutines in that same file.In the command line ,specify the name of the file for the 'user' option. CAE extracting the index of a datume planeDear All,
I'm using CAE to create a parametric model by scripting. I've defined a cell and it is to be cut by some palnes. I've defined a number of datume planes but how can I refer to them in the cutting command e.g. PartitionCellByDatumPlane(datumPlane=?,cells=...). Is there something like findAt() function for datume objects? Or is there any way of defining a cutting plane without existing vertices? thanks in advance M. Mahzari ps. I don't like to hardcode the index of the datume planes in my script --------------------------------- Win a BlackBerry device from O2 with Yahoo!. Enter now. Re: CAE extracting the index of a datume planefor a datum it is "id" rather than "index"..sorry I'm not going to get the
syntax right off the top of my head here, but if you need more help let me know and I'll dig up an example. You are right you don't want to hard code those.. Re: CAE extracting the index of a datume planethanks George for the reply. What I'm gonna do is to cut a cylinder (extruded) by two planes at a specific location. I define two datume planes in my script by DatumPlaneByPrincipalPlane() command.
Next I would like to use the PartitionCellByDatumPlane(datumPlane=?,cells=...) to cut the cell(s). How can I get the id of the datume planes I already defined? because the method requires a single datume plane object. thanks maziar ----- Original Message ---- From: george jefferson <george.jefferson@...> To: ABAQUS@... Re: CAE extracting the index of a datume planeroughly:
datumid=DatumPlaneByPrincipalPlane( ... ).id PartitionCellByDatumPlane(datumPlane=..part.datums[datumid]) If that's not close enough It will be monday till I can get you a better example..
