Export Rosegarden project to .ogg or .wav or similar?

Hi!

First of all, thanks for the awesome program! I use it all the time. I
first made the switch to Ubuntu Linux almost 2 years ago, and although I
was frustrated and I struggled for hours, I worked out how to use your
program, especially after visiting your website.

Now, I have a certain request, since I am not computer-literate enough to
do it myself. I would like to export a Rosegarden project to audio, but I
have no idea how. Is there a way to do it?

Thanks!
Etienne Snyman

There is no "export to .wav" function in Rosegarden, so you must record all of
your audio streams mixed together into a single recording file. You can use
Rosegarden itself to do this, or any one of several other JACK-capable
applications, like Ardour or Time Machine.

This can become an extremely complicated subject, so instead of trying to
write a treatise covering every situation, why don't we start by having you
describe the composition you wish to record.

Do you have existing audio segments?

Do you have MIDI segments?

If you have MIDI segments, what are you using to reproduce MIDI?  Do you have
any external hardware (like a keyboard or a black box MIDI sound module?)
