Export XPLD fo JPEG via APIs

Hi,

I am looking for a way to save one or more processes in a XPDL file to one or more JPEG images.
I know that this is possible using JaWE. Is it possible to do the same using the API only (i.e. in
a headless setting)?
The high level sequence would be XPDL -> Package -> Graph -> JPEG.
It would be of tremedous help if someone with intimate knowledge of the code could point me to the right
classes, if it's at all possible...

In advance thank you for any pointers (even if it's not possible, then I can go look for something else!).
