Export server listI've been trying to find an answer for this I use pgAdmin (windows version) and we are several persons that connect to the same databases, is it possible if one has setup all connections to the servers to then export that so the other users can connect more easily. Like tnsnames.ora in oracle thanks /Niklas Dela foton på ett smidigt sätt med Windows LiveT Photos. Dra och släpp |

Re: Export server listHello Niklas.
Server information is stored in windows registry (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\pgAdmin III\Servers). If you and your colleagues have same pgAdmin versions copying this registry information should be enough. I've tried this once (with success), but it was few years ago. Not sure if nothing changed there. Use at your own risk :) Niklas Olsson rašė: > Hi! > I've been trying to find an answer for this > > I use pgAdmin (windows version) and we are several persons that > connect to the same databases, is it possible if one has setup all > connections to the servers to then export that so the other users can > connect more easily. > > Like tnsnames.ora in oracle > > thanks > /Niklas > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Dela foton på ett smidigt sätt med Windows LiveT Photos. Re: Export server listNothing is supposed to be changed around that, it should work fine. It
may not work between versions as the parameters stored can vary a bit, but if they are the same version it should work perfectly fine. Just use the registry editor to export them. -- Magnus Hagander Me: http://www.hagander.net/ Work: http://www.redpill-linpro.com/ 2009/9/29 Julius Tuskenis <julius@...>: > Hello Niklas. > > Server information is stored in windows registry (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\pgAdmin III\Servers).
