External drive recommendation

Hi,

I need to purchase an external USB CD-R drive.  I will use it to rip audio CDs
most often, and burn audio CDs a little less frequently.  Thus, I'd like a drive
that would excel at ripping audio.  I use cdparanoia for this task.

Any recommendations?

In general, it's very hard to tell what rebadged drive is inside any
device or computer these days.  It will often be a completely
different maker even inside products with the same part number.

Cdrom drives in general are greatly improved over the past ten years,
and it's unusual to find one that does not work well with cdparanoia.
However, if you're worried, I suggest buying locally from a store with
a good return policy.
