Hi everyone,
One of the tasks on the "beta" list is to extract the example/proof-of-
concept Solar_App and Solar_Model classes to their own Vendor, so that
they don't pollute the standard distribution. I'm about to do this in
the branches/beta Subversion repository, and will probably modify the
classes after doing so to strip them down. If anyone is extending
from these classes, you may wish to make your own copies of them in
your own Vendor trees.
FYI, the list of "beta" tasks is continuously updated on the todo list
in the core SVN repo here:

Please let me know if this removal is an insurmountable issue for you,
and I'll help you out personally.
