Hosted by the Savannah College of Art and Design, the Savannah Film Festival is an eight-day festival that runs Oct. 25ñNov. 1, showcasing the best the industry has to offer in the categories of Special Screenings, Narrative Feature and Narrative Short, Documentary Feature, Animation and Student Competition. The festival features more than $100,000 in cash and prizes. The Savannah Film Festival is accepting submissions in the categories above for films completed after January 2007 through the registration Web site Without A Box. Deadline for submission is June 30; all entries must be postmarked by this date. The Savannah Film Festival provides airfare (coach within the continental United States ), hotel, and meals for two representatives of selected competition films (some restrictions may apply).
