FW: Instructions for testingJust to let everyone know that I'm not going to wait for the
blog.testing.tikwiki.org site to become available and I will just use my own test site (opendev.enmoreservices.com) to do my own testing and as much of the Blog testing that has been allocated to me as I can on this site. As a quick expedient I will also post anything I find to a wiki page linked to the Tiki 4 test page. I will clean this up afterwards, posting any long term issues to the bug list if appropriate. By the way is there any reason why Structures are not being used on the dev.. site? geoff -----Original Message----- From: geoff@enmore [mailto:geoff@...] Sent: 08 November 2009 12:19 To: 'Desilets, Alain'; 'Pascal St-Jean'; 'kfink@...'; 'mlpilling@...'; 'rafaelpezzi@...'; 'omstefanov@...'; 'patricia_campbell@...' I've got my own test site that is synch'd to the 4.x branch that I will use to test my typical usage and I'm more than happy to do the Blog testing allocated to me. But .. 1. blog.testing.tikwiki.org/ doesn't seem to exist yet ? I assume someone is setting up all the test sites? 2. I'm not really sure how we are reporting issues. Are we just using the normal bug list, or should we create a wiki page linked to the Tiki4 test page on dev. Or should we just post to the dev list? I would favour creating a wiki page as a 'log' of what's been done/found and posts to the dev list to flag big issues. Not sure it would make sense to formally log to the bug list. Re: FW: Instructions for testingGreat!
If you are going to do your own testing, why don't you write up a test plan as you go along on this page: http://profiles.tikiwiki.org/Personal_Blog_and_Profile_4x Alain -----Original Message----- From: geoff@enmore [mailto:geoff@...] Sent: Monday, November 09, 2009 11:43 AM To: 'Tikiwiki developers' Subject: [Tikiwiki-devel] FW: Instructions for testing Just to let everyone know that I'm not going to wait for the blog.testing.tikwiki.org site to become available and I will just use my own test site (opendev.enmoreservices.com) to do my own testing and as much of the Blog testing that has been allocated to me as I can on this site.
