Hi Ladan,

I have been sworn to secrecy up until this week but we have a new bluetooth interface box and application for use with the Iphone and Itouch!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hiNb7a2n0ww

Just thought I would let you know as the Iphone has many applications for home automation, environmental control etc.

The joystick/switches cannot scroll through the Iphone/touch the person still needs to be able to make contact with the Iphone.

Thanks

Kate

Hi Ladan,

Well spotted, this is a really interesting development - shame it is taking till April 2010...

Initially I assumed that it would allow mouse-like control of the iPhone interface from the wheelchair joystick, doesn't seem to though - seems to more be an alternative display/actuator control for the chair?

If it did allow control of the iphone through the joystick it would be interesting to see how this could integrate with Prolog2Go for AAC...

Cheers.

Simon

Hi Simon

The same as you I thought initially that you can control the IPhone
through wheelchair's switches/ joystick however I think Dynamic may have
further plans for this so keep an eye on it. I think it is a good start
and you are right it will be interesting to see how it can be integrated
with Prolog2Go.
