Just FYI that Roller doesn't currently compile on JDK 1.5.
I created an issue and quick patch to fix this: ROL-1826.

I marked this Critical for 5.0.  I hadn't seen any notice that 5.0 would
stop supporting 1.5.

Due to Java 1.5's imminent EOSL (10/30/2009), we do need to talk about
shifting to Java 1.6 even if we continue to support building/running
Roller with 1.5.

I'm not planning to introduce any Java 1.6 dependencies in the world
I'm planning to do to wrap up 5.0.
