Just updating from trunk and I see a lot of jQuery coming down.

Can some one from Daemon comment on JS libraries?

Hey AJ,

We are preparing Core 5.2 for a migration from ext to jquery and converting formtools to integrate with the uni-form css layouts.

The libraries are being put in place in preparation and also so that we can use jquery in a couple of projects to start testing functionalty.

Thanks Mat.

I am using jQuery in my Project (client side)
Is it *safe* to reference jQuery in the Farcry core?
Or should each project have it's own jQuery JS files.

Does the (or will the) Farcry Core  use jQuery UI?

I hope so.  I mean, the accordians, tabs, and modal windows in ext are
nice, but jQuery just seems to do it a little better (with more
flexibility.  It also seems to run faster on slower machines - correct
me if I'm wrong).

+1 vote for jQuery UI

I would hold off at the moment and use your own. We havnt finalised the location or how we will allow people to extend the library or add themes so referencing it may be different.
