I've been using it for the last month and bought it the other day - this is a
great product.  Definitely one of the best I've found on the Mac.

Thought I'd just jot down a few little things which would make make the app
workflow a little better:

1) In the Output window when you have conflicts after an update it would be
good if you could Right-Click/Cmd-S and directly open conflict solver for
the selected conflict file. Not sure if this exists already but also a "Next
Conflicted File" button/short-cut/option would be great too.

2) Any chance of remembering which files you had checked on the commit
screen when you have a failed commit?

3) Also on the commit screen - would it be possible to right-click specific
files here and have options to add to ignore list? (ala TortoiseSVN style,
i.e. two options:  *.extension or exact filename)

4) This is a major wish so don't expect anything really however just to
mention on the Mac there are so many menus it ends up going over the usual
top-menu icons and clock.  Is there any way of hiding or merging the menus
to cut down on the amount shown?  Can send a screen shot if it helps to see
the issue.

Cheers
Luke

Good idea, I'll added this RFE to JIRA.

We'll see what we can do.

You already can do that in the normal project window, not in the Commit
wizard.

We are aware of this issue, but have no good ideas what menus to remove. We
will appreciate your (and other users) suggestions.

Thanks for the reply & taking on board the ideas Thomas.  See my notes below...

You already can do that in the normal project window, not in the Commit
wizard.
Yep I noticed it was part of the project window and  I understand if you don't necessarily agree with this one.  I'm not sure how other people work however I tend to use the commit window as a review for what I've changed.  I find it's at this point I notice files that really don't need to be part of the project (e.g. new log files etc).  Currently I have to uncheck those files from the commit, remember them, commit, then find them in the project and ignore them which adds to the workflow.

We are aware of this issue, but have no good ideas what menus to remove. We
will appreciate your (and other users) suggestions.
Yeah its a tricky one, a few the of ideas I had were:

1) Have a "More..." menu item after the Query menu, which then displays all the menu items and a new "Less..." menu item after the Help to hide them again.
2) Have a "More..." menu item after the Query menu, and then have all the other menus as sub-menus.
3) Have some intelligence built-in to the menus so that only the current users commonly used menus are shown by default, and a "More..." menu is needed to show all (would probably need an option to turn this off or you might drive some users nuts though haha)

Obviously neither of these are optimal solutions from a UI point of view though.

Kind Regards
Luke

And while we're at it, how about making the commit window modeless, to
make it possible to do all the normal logs/annotations/diffs in the
main window without having to close the commit window inbetween?

Hi Marcus,

We don't have plans to make the commit dialog modeless, because it would be
hard work to handle all the possible side effects.

You already can prepare a commit message by reviewing your files, e.g. using
the Show Changes window (for multiple files) and assigning the files to change
sets.
