Feature request: install wmlbrowser in the user profile

Hi Matthew,

Several extensions, like Multizilla, Mnenhy or Flashblock ask during the
installation whether you want to put them in the application folder or
in the user profile. The latest option allows to keep these extensions
when one updates SeaMonkey, so one doesn't have to reinstall them again.

http://www.mozdev.org/source/browse/~checkout~/mnenhy/src/bin/install/en-US/install.properties?rev=1.10&content-type=text/plain
may explain this better than I do.

Would it be possible to offer the same choice with wmlbrowser?

Best regards.

Unfortunately not. wmlbrowser relies on an XPCOM component, which under
SeaMonkey can only be installed under a global install.

Once SeaMonkey supports this functionality, I will be happy to make
wmlbrowser use it.

Matthew
