This is probably a silly question, but I'm struggling to do a filter on a keyword list that I've created. Basically, I have 1 column of keywords which I want to filter into seprate columns of related terms. E.g I have a column that contains the following terms: Blue Steel Widgets, Black Plastic Widgets, Red Steel Widgets, Grey Aluminium Widets. I want to create a column of all the steel widgets. How do I do this?

You can do a wildcard filter, to filter for keywords "like" "*steel*", demo is here: http://www.digdb.com/excel_add_ins/filter_wildcard/
