I have it in /home/jerry in both Kubuntu and Mandriva. -Jerry ============================================= Jerry Lapham Monroe, OH 45050 rjlapham@... ============================================= No more sick days? The Mozilla one is pre-compiled without the --enable-system-cairo flag, whereas the MDV one is compiled with this flag. This make a HUGE difference of the fonts, especially for the users having subpixel hinting with cairo enabled. -Anshul |

But ff3.5 is not even available officially on cooker right now. Just wait a bit, a discussion is going on about this. |

It should be released right away since it seems like a significant performance increase (less memory usage) over 3.0.x series. |

Because all parts of the integration must work, before it's pushed out.. And as always, it wont be pushed into updates for older distributions as long as the 3.0 series is still supported, which is until January 2010. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html -- Thomas |

If the memory used is a big problem for you, feel free to use any other browser available (arora, midori, galeon, epiphany, dillo, ... ) :-) |
