Hi All (Hi Zoli , really need your help on this one)

Its not such a complex configuration , and I'm desperately trying to resolve this ..

1.       Please confirm that if my host uses SSL I just need to switch my channel to : SecureAMFChannel ,
Without any changes to the URI: http://{server.name}:{server.port}/{context.root}/Gateway.aspx
Is that correct ?

2.       In case where I have a host name given by a FW (which is not the original hostname)
but the flex app is loaded from the same place , I still don’t have any reason to change the URI above
is that correct ?

Your kind help will be much appreciated ..

Alon

Alon,

1.       You will need to change the URL to https:// in order to use SSL.

2.       {server.name} is resolved by the Flash Player as the host name that was entered into the browser – so whatever internal redirection is made by a firewall, the AMF request will follow the same route.

Best,

Peter
