FontsGreetings,
kst 1.x (haven't looked at kst 2.0) there are fonts installed in /usr/share/apps/kst/fonts/. Is there a specific reason that kst doesn't use the system installed fonts and packages its own? Is it a relic of the "olden days" when unicode fonts were hard to come by (and therefore a custom/specific symbol font is needed for the math characters)? -- "If you drop your keys into a river of molten lava, forget about them, they're gone!" -------------------------- Matthew Truch Department of Physics and Astronomy University of Pennsylvania matt@... http://matt.truch.net/ _______________________________________________ Kst mailing list Kst@... https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kst |

Re: FontsAs far as I know they are a relic. They are not used for anything, to my
knowledge. cbn On October 30, 2009 12:45:46 pm Matthew D Truch wrote: > Greetings, > > kst 1.x (haven't looked at kst 2.0) there are fonts installed in > /usr/share/apps/kst/fonts/. Re: FontsSo, there's a good chance I could delete them and kst wouldn't care?
I'll have to try that. > As far as I know they are a relic. Re: Fonts> So, there's a good chance I could delete them and kst wouldn't care?
Yup, kst doesn't care about those. May I suggest they are deleted from the tarball (or at least not installed with make install)? -- "Only two things are infinite, the universe, and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former -- Einstein." -------------------------- Matthew Truch Department of Physics and Astronomy University of Pennsylvania matt@... http://matt.truch.net/ _______________________________________________ Kst mailing list Kst@... https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kst |

Re: FontsI removed them (svn rm) from the 2.0 branch. We c/should do the same for the
1.x branch. On Friday 30 October 2009 15:25:32 Matthew D Truch wrote: > > So, there's a good chance I could delete them and kst wouldn't care? > > Yup, kst doesn't care about those.
