Congrats! Those are some serious passes!

It would have been a hell of a race between you guys and Trevor's car in the finals.

I wanted to come out west this year, but nearly every WTTT5 race was on the same weekend as a TTT5 race.

We had a good run this year. We entered 4 races in 4 weekends in a row and won 3 of them. That little ole 565 with one gun is running hard. Now it's time to get it back all yeller again. lol

Y'all have a good off season and maybe we will see y'all next year. Until then, be safe and take care of those who take care of you!

That 4.99 car has a 600 inch NRC motor in it. Still a leaf spring car with no bars. Runs a single stage difusser plate to boot. He weighs 3375 lbs.

The TTT5 rules haven't changed much Ricky. In fact, 2 years ago, 50 lbs was added to the BB cars and 200 lbs was deducted from the small block nitrous cars.

I didn't build a bigger motor as you think. Call Donnell in Stephenville Texas,  he will tell you what it is, he did the machine work. I don't know who is telling you that, but they are wrong. In TTT5 every car gets pumped, not just the ones that win. Last year my motor was a 565 and now it is a 568 on a single fogger.

I've heard thru the grapevine the reason we don't come race with WTTT5 is because we are not legal. We were legal last year and we are legal today. Drag racing has glass walls and revolving doors. So everything comes full circle. We don't race with WTTT5 any more for a few reasons. 1). Ya'll think we are cheating with a big motor, 2) y'all dropped the payout to where it aint worth it to drive 775 miles to race, and 3) y'alls rules are the most screwed up, biased, rules I've ever seen in heads-up true 10.5 drag racing.

Read between the lines why we raced last year and not this year.

I help run the TTT5 organization. There are 3 other classes in Texas that follow the rules that the TTT5 committee comes up with. Ultimate Street 10.5, Tuff Street 10.5 and Centex Little Pouch 10.5. The reason they follow the TTT5 is because of parity between the races. The racing is close in these classes, not lop sided.

Shoot me if you like, but all the above is true.

Peace out,

Unc

Hold on big boy......nobody down here is saying that you are illegal. I just thought by chance that you went to a larger engine because the rules allow it! If you say its a 568, then we have no reason not to believe it. Thats a darn good pass on 1 gun!

We certainly don't have everything figured out..........and may even consider seperating the nitrous cars from the blower cars????????????

You can throw rocks at our rules all you want, but you have to admit that your rules are tailored to a nitrous car and thats the reason they always win. You have no turbo or blower cars that are consistantly in the finals. You really expect a dinky little turbo deal or an F1 on gasoline to keep up with your 1500-1600hp deal. Maybe you would have more turbos and blowers in your deal if the rules were changed a bit. There are certainly plenty of cars around that would run.

Like I have said before, you can't look at what you have, you have to look at the potential. There are F1 cars and 88 mm cars all over the USA that are running in the teens and 0's on gas at 3350 lbs in 3000 foot air. TTT5 consults the experts in the industry and we base our rules on that data. Trust me, there are turbo cars out there today that can and will run 4.9x with the new 88 mm turbos at 3350 lbs. WTTT5 lets 91's on meth come in at 3100. It's just a matter of time before someone out there exploits WTTT5 rules and kills the class. Just my 2 cents. idios.

Okay, I see how it works. If somebody bucks the system and tries to point something out, just tell em to stay away and stay at home.

Hey Unc, Don't worry about "Big E" hes just gittin old and cranky! You know as I have told you before that everything in this organization is voted on by the current paid members. We will be having a meeting around the 1st week in Dec. and hopefully iron a few more wrinkles out. Your points are all well taken. I have 7 different sets of true 10.5 rules from across the country laid out on a spread sheet and its crazy the differences that you will see. Only 2 are gasoline only, and your rules are one of those. Some rules favor nitrous cars and some rules favor blower/turbo cars. Except for your rules, the blower/turbo cars basically dominate all the other rules across the country. As you know, some rules simply say weigh 3200# and run what ever you want and nitrous small block get to weigh 2900# which ironically there are none. Some rules have no provision for 4 and 6 cyl. Some rules have no provision for normally aspirated engines. There is no perfect set of rules, yet we can all keep trying. We will post the date soon and if you can't make it we will keep you posted. We would be slow compared to you guys but you should let us bring the little old 355... 871 on alky down to play.
