Three XL600R project bikes for sale. Package deal. $1500 for three
motorcycles (1983, 1984, 1985).
I need to clean out the garage a bit. I've got too many projects and
not enough time. I'd like to move three XL600R's, all titled, one
licensed, out of my garage. I have two complete motors both out of the
bikes. Two rolling chassis. One of them was stolen when running and
got a bit beaten up by the thief before it was recovered. I pulled the
motor, but haven't gotten around to straightening the bars and
footpegs out.
The motors are actually 85 and 86's. The 85 has a Wiseco high
compression piston (618cc) and wheelied in third with about 2000 miles
on it. The 86 was bored first over and is fresh, never run. I replaced
both cams with the revised oiler (early models had different oil hole
locations on the cam lobes) and all the rocker arms.
I have parts for about two complete motorcycles, and maybe 50% of the
third. I also have a bazillion spares in crates. Four original red gas
tanks (three dented and one almost clean) as well as an oversized
Clarke desert tank.
These are for sale until next Friday at which point, I'll be outside
the country until Christmas at the earliest.
