Frequent "connection refused" errorI'm new to SmartSVN. I've been using Versions, but I need something more powerful and feature-wise, SmartSVN seems great.
However, I'm having trouble using it because I'm getting "connection refused" errors quite often -- more than half the time. Here is a sample of output I'm getting: Merge: connection refused by the server OPTIONS request failed on '/repos/iCostaRica/trunk' Update to HEAD: . at revision 285 Update to HEAD: connection refused by the server OPTIONS request failed on '/repos/iIsrael/trunk' Merge: connection refused by the server OPTIONS request failed on '/repos/iCostaRica/trunk' Repeating an operation repeatedly eventually gets the job done. My internet connection is a bit iffy, but I'm not getting these errors at all from Versions. Never. I've looked at the SmartSVN preferences to see if perhaps there's a setting to make it less sensitive to dropped packets, but I don't see any. Any suggestion would be helpful (except for getting a more stable internet connection, which is not possible at the moment). ------------------------------------ Yahoo! Please set system property smartsvn.default-connection-logging, for details refer to: http://www.syntevo.com/smartsvn/documentation.html?page=vmoptions#vmoptions.smartsvn.default-connection-logging Then restart SmartSVN, wait until an operation fails, repeat it until it goes through and send the resulting connection.log file directly to us.
