Dancing in a circle in a beautiful, natural place early in the morning is a
tradition that has made its way to the Bay Area all the way from Bulgaria,
where both mountains and dance are beloved. The simple steps of the
Paneurhythmy (“beautiful, harmonious rhythm") created by the Bulgarian
spiritual teacher Peter Deunov’s /Beinsa Douno (Music and dance spiritual
practice and prayer) are easy to follow. 9:30 a.m. 555 Guadalupe Canyon,

EVERY WEDNESDAY in May: BULGARIAN WOMEN"S DANCE

at Albany Senior Center.
From 10:15 to 11:30 am, join a group of women of all ages and explore in
depth
the magic of simple traditional Bulgarian women's dances with
Catherine Sutton, a great fan of simple dances that say a lot.

$7 at the door ($6 for Albany residents).
