Fwd: Debian n32Hello Sha!
Good news! Looks like more people are joining the effort! :-) Cheers, Anthony ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: <jscottkasten@...> Date: Thu, Oct 29, 2009 at 9:54 PM Subject: Re: debian n32 To: yajin <yajinzhou@...> Cc: debian-mips@... The N32 port is of course still experimental. I played with it a couple years ago and got a base userland functional, however there were some things broken, most notably gdb. Perhaps you should try and contact this person: http://sandyleo26.wordpress.com/2009/04/05/gsoc-proposal-creating-a-new-mips-n32-abi-port-for-debian/ Not that I'm steering you away from Debian, you may also find it useful to look a gentoo as there is a very strait forward path to build N32 there. Once you have a base userland working, things get a whole lot easier. Re: Fwd: Debian n32I would also recommend not using wordpress.com for your blog as it is
blocked in China, preventing most of Chinese volunteers to read or post on your progress updates. Should you need hosting/project space to share your work, Dexxon will gladly provide. Just let us know what you need. Fred Anthony Fok wrote: > Hello Sha! > > Good news! That's right. I also want to change my blog. However, WP was not blocked when I registered and I found that many open source developers could read my blogs and gave their comments there. Is there any popular blog site which is not blocked by GFW?
Thanks a lot. Yes, I want such a place to host the system image I built so that other developer could download and try it. How can I get it? -- Best, Sha Liu |
