  Unique Photo Contest Helps Students
            "See the Bigger Picture"

Looking for a great student activity to do at the end of the school year or over the summer?

Capture Biodiversity through the Camera Lens

In partnership with National Geographic and Airbus, ePals wants to help students “See the Bigger Picture.” This student photo contest supports the Green Wave project - an initiative to educate people about the complex variety of life and how to help build a more sustainable future.

  • Student photo submissions will be accepted from now to September 8, 2009.
Find more details about the contest on ePals' Biodiversity Focus Area. Here, students can learn about biodiversity and the importance of conservation, while getting ideas about what to capture with their cameras. Share this email with parents, students and other teachers to get everyone involved!

  • Five grand prize winners will be selected for an all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, DC to meet Joel Sartore, famous National Geographic photographer. The winning photos will be displayed across National Geographic Media as well as the Airbus photo exhibit.
