Fwd: kdepim extragear googledataHi,
one of the items of KDE 4.3 I was looking forward to is the Korganizer <-> Google calendar integration by http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/extragear/pim/googledata/ . According to the release announcement [1] it is part of 4.3. I haven't found tarballs or binary packages of it yet. Are there plans to release a tarball? Re: Fwd: kdepim extragear googledataHi,
I guess you should ask the author (cc'ed). extragear tarballs are created and googledata isn't part of them. Re: Fwd: kdepim extragear googledataHello Friends
I have being a little busy thanks to my day job, so the delay to release the tarball (but I used this week to also fix some minor bugs on it thanks to user reports). Anyway, the link where people can downloaded it meanwhile is here: http://libgcal.googlecode.com/files/akonadi-googledata-1.0.tar.bz2 I got to mention that libgcal 0.9.2 is required, or fast-sync (when only changes in server side are downloaded) will fail for gcalendar. This is mostly thanks to some changes (bug or feature?) in the way that gcalendar server are answering some requests. For people interested about the development of this resource and how gdata protocol works, I have some slides from my presentation in FISL10 (International Forum for Free Software in Brazil): http://libgcal.googlecode.com/files/fisl10_adenilson08.pdf Best regards Adenilson Cavalcanti a.k.a.
