Hi all

Is there a GBrowse 2 demo server running somewhere? I've looked through the wiki and can't see a link to one - this might be a good idea.

regards

Hi Ayton,

While there are already a few installations using GBrowse2, it has not
been "officially" released yet, and there are still missing pieces of
functionality, so I am not yet pushing real hard for it's adoption.
That said, the functionality that is there is quite good, but there
are still bugs being worked out.

If you would like to look at an instance of it running, you can
checkout the server at modENCODE:

   http://modencode.oicr.on.ca/cgi-bin/gb2/gbrowse/worm/

   http://modencode.oicr.on.ca/cgi-bin/gb2/gbrowse/fly/

At the moment, the server that runs gmod.org is getting ready for a
migration to another box (and country!).  After that migration is
complete, I will probably set up a demo server to go along with the
GBrowse 1.70 server at

   http://gmod.org/gbrowse-cgi/

Thanks,
Scott
