GBrowse2 installed but no image from SQL data

Hello,
I have installed GBrowse2 and can see the supplied Data Sources (yeast) no problem. I loaded my own data into an SQL database using Bio::SeqFeature::Store. When I switch to my new Data Source I can enter search terms and the browser does find them (as displayed by the coordinates at the top of the page), but I have no image displayed in the browser. Overview or Detailed view. Can anyone tell me what might be the possibe reasons for this?

Thanks in advance,

Liisa Koski

Hello Liisa,

That's weird.  Is there anything in the apache error_log that might help?

Hi Liisa,

How are the reference sequence (ie, chromosomes) represented in the GFF file?  Do they have both Name and ID tags?

Hi Liisa,

As it happens, I am currently helping to teach a course where some of the students are trying GBrowse2, and one just had exactly the same phenotype.  He cleared it up by simplifying his configuration down to the bare bones and then realizing the he had misconfigured a path to a file or directory.  I suggest you try the same.
